Anita L. Butts
Anita L. Butts, age 68 years, 9
months and 6 days, entered eternal life April 30, 2009
at her home in Broken Arrow.
She was born July 25, 1940 in Tulsa to Millard
and Fannie Edith (Henry) Taliaferro.
She married Don Butts October 9, 1964 in
Tulsa.
A longtime Tulsa Public Schools
teacher, she enjoyed reading, cooking and especially her
granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, she was
preceded in death by her brother Charles Taliaferro and
a niece.
Anita is survived by her loving husband Don, son Michael
Butts, daughter Donnita Butts; granddaughter Abigail
Butts; sisters: Wanda Wilburn and Freeda Manning; 18
nieces and nephews.
