Anita Carole Crofford

Anita Carole Crofford of Broken Arrow, 72, entered eternal life December 24, 2009.  She was born May 15, 1937 in Okeene, OK to Oran and Bessie (Grable) Nunemaker. 

She married Lester James Crofford June 23, 1958.  He preceded her in death November 8, 2008.  A wonderful homemaker, she was a member of Heatherridge Baptist Church. 

Carole enjoyed basketball and flower gardening.  She sung and played the organ and piano.

Carole is survived by her loving daughter Diane Haynes; son Billy Crofford; grandchildren: Trisha Stender, Jessica Sutherland, Joshua Haynes, Brittany Crofford and Andrew Crofford; 6 great-grandchildren; sister Viola Myers of Wisconsin; brother Mervin Nunemaker and his wife Lanell of California. 

Visitation: 12-4:30PM Sunday, December 27; service: 11AM Monday, December 28 at the Chapel; interment: Park Grove Cemetery.  Kennedy-Amis-Kennard Funeral Service, 251.5331.
