Emma S. Denton, age 92 years, 2 months and 5 days, entered eternal life November 6, 2008 in Coweta. 

She was born September 2, 1916 in Coweta to Simeon Smith and Minnie (Hall) Noe. She married William Ray Denton October 25, 1933 in Coweta. 

Emma worked as a reel assembler at Zebco.  She was an active member at New Hope Primitive Baptist Church and enjoyed sewing, crocheting afghans, gardening vegetables, farming and especially her grandchildren. 

In addition to her husband, Emma was preceded in death by her sons: Donald Edward, Larry Dwight and Simeon Lee Denton; brothers: George “Pete” and Lloyd Noe.  She is survived by her loving children: Joyce Lea Holmes, Aurelia Woodward, Jimmy Ray, Jerry Lloyd and Harry Dwain Denton; siblings: Francis Jenkins, Marie Garroute, Minnie Pool, Bonnie Jean Sutton and Ralph Noe; 20 grandchildren; numerous great & great-great-grandchildren.
