Fannie Delaney
Fannie Delaney was born August 29, 1928 in
Scooba, Mississippi to Ben and Lillian Walker.
She departed this life March 31, 2009 at 3:05PM.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by
her son Clarence Delaney, Jr.; brother Wilson Walker;
sisters: Corrine Caswell and Lula Davis.
Fannie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized
in Mississippi and received
her formal education in Scooba.
Fannie Adams has been married to Clarence Delaney
for over sixty years and to this union twelve children
were born.
Fannie was a special woman that put your needs before
her own. She
was a caring, loving person who loved her family
unconditionally.
In addition to her husband, Fannie leaves to cherish her
memory: brother Ben Walker and sister-in-law Fannie;
sons: Cleve Delaney, C.J. Delaney and daughter-in-law
Maude, Raymond Delaney, Douglas Delaney and
daughter-in-law Felicia, Glendale Delaney, Andrew
Delaney and daughter-in-law Kimberly and Tylies Delaney;
daughters: Dorothy Delaney, Carolyn Tapper and
son-in-law Dr. Ben, Alice Mary Haynes and son-in-law
Darrel, Pamela Riley and son-in-law Derrick; 27
grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; and a host of
nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation: 10-10:30 AM Friday, April 3 at
Jubilee
Worship Center;
service: 10:30 AM; interment:
Rose
Hill Memorial
