Gladys Alma Conner
Gladys Alma Conner of Catoosa, 97,
entered eternal life January 13, 2010 in
Tulsa.
She was born December 8, 1912 in Timber Ridge
(Catoosa) to William Everett and Minnie Bell (Draper)
McMillan.
She married Jack Loyd Conner February 14, 1931 in Pryor
and together they created a beautiful family.
A wonderful homemaker and member of Catoosa Christian Center,
she enjoyed reading, fishing, traveling and politics.
In addition to her husband and
parents, Gladys was preceded in death by sisters:
Rosa, Opal, Ruby and Shirley; brothers:
Homer, Eldon, Benson, Alvie, Bernie and Herbert.
Gladys is survived by her loving daughter Wanda
Snook; sons: Jack Conner, Jr., Larry Conner and wife
Sue, Gerald Conner and wife Polly; grandchildren: Larry
Don, Paul David, Kevin and Cheryl; great-grandchildren:
Houston, Lynn and Casey; great-great-grandson Landon;
sisters: Merie Dennis and Betty Dolan; many nieces,
nephews and other extended family.
Service: 11AM Friday January 15,
2010 at First Baptist
Church; interment: Timber Ridge
Cemetery, both in Catoosa.
